I graduated in Fine Art from Coleg Menai (University of Glyndwr) as a mature student in 2004. Since then I have exhibited in solo and group shows in Wales and England.
I was a member of Artisans in Miniature until recently and contributed regularly to the AIM free online magazine. Click on the link to go to the AIM website where you can access the latest issue and the archived back numbers.
A few years ago I became fascinated by miniatures and began making tiny items for collectors' dolls' houses, finding what I love best is making miniature flowers and plants. It shouldn't have come as a surprise because flowers were always a favourite subject for painting, and making them in miniature uses a lot of the skills learnt at art college, not least of which was learning to look at things intently. I sold miniatures online for 8 years on Etsy, but now I am going to be focussing on painting.
